Hochvermögende möchten in Kryptowährungen investieren

Many natural and social science phenomena are normally distributed. Stocks returns are not one of them, according to Björn Siegismund from Kapilendo. The former pension fund investment manager explains why the Value at Risk of some Robo-Advisors reacted too late during the Corona crisis.

Björn Siegismund, Kapilendo’s Chief Investment Officer

Stock markets have switched on the panic button in response to the corona pandemic. The shutdown is hitting the entire economy on a scale that probably no one expected before. In our opinion, forward-looking investors should use the current price level for initial purchases. …

Hey Bosko, can you introduce yourself and what you do at Kapilendo?

As CTO I am responsible for all things concerning IT at Kapilendo, which means ensuring that our development team has a unified vision of how our applications are architected, which tools are used to write them, and being available for technical guidance to both the development and business teams. I’m 35 and I started my career in 2005. In the time since I have been fortunate enough to have worked in South Africa, New Zealand, and Germany, learning different technology and techniques along the way.

What does being a CTO involve and is there like a „normal“ day in your position?

I believe the CTO role is strongly defined by the size of the team. At…

Amir. Our Full-Stack Developer.

Hi Amir, can you introduce yourself and what you do at wevest?

My name is Amir Massarwa, I’m 27 years old, studied Computer Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

I started back in 2014 as Salesforce Developer in Tel-Aviv and after a couple of years working and managing Salesforce products, I joined Ourcrowd as full-stack developer before moving to Berlin.

Where are you originally from?

For me (and for almost all other 2 million palestinians living inside Israel borders) there is no straightforward answer to this question, I’m a Palestinian with Israeli citizenship (sometimes not considered and treated like equal citizens), I grew up in Taybeh — an Arab city in the center of Israel and…

Imagine that: you get in. The smell of ripened leather rises directly into your nose when you open the driver’s door. The seats are elegantly shaped, and the design of the vehicle is stylish. The car lies elegantly in the curves, while serpentine by serpentine it climbs an alpine pass. In the film “Skyfall”, James Bond once again shows us how smoothly a legendary “Aston Martin DB5” can move.

Since decades banking has been experiencing product-driven innovation lifecylces. The main focus lied on providing lower cost products than the relevant competitors. Today, we find ourselves in the year of 2019 and the question arises: Is that still enough? According to studies, only 55% of the banking clients in Germany are happy with the current customer experience their bank provides which turned out to be one of the most crucial factors for people to change their banking partner. Let’s take a closer look at what happened.

From Single Product Design to Customer Experience Design.

In 2007 Apple not only started redesigning the smartphone industry but also product innovation in many other industries. Companies used to focus on developing high-end products that matched the current state of the technological progess. This was good, technology was developing at a fast pace and missing out would have meant a drop out of relevant markets for many players. But then something else happend. Besides the new iPhone, Apple introduced the world to the most amazing customer service worldwide. People didn’t want to be overloaded with technological products anymore — but feel appreciated and valued as a customer.
